Is there car parking?
Yes, there is free parking on our driveway for three cars, plus additional free public parking around 200 metres away.
We do not have EV charging. The nearest EV charging point and petrol station are located at Kingsbridge (12 minutes' drive).

Is there disabled access?
Yes, wheelchair access can be arranged. The property is all on one level with no internal steps.
There are three steps (with a balustrade) up to the front entrance. We can provide a free wheelchair ramp. We can also provide shower seating. NB. there is a small step up to the shower.

Where can we buy food?
A convenience store in the village is less than 300 metres from Little Byfield. Kingsbridge has a Tesco superstore, Morrisons and plenty of independent shops.
Asda, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose all deliver to Thurlestone. We recommend booking your ideal delivery slot in advance during July/August.

How can I pay?

Is it dog-friendly?
Yes, we love welcoming dogs!
We allow two well-behaved dogs to stay at Little Byfield, with no additional dog charge.
We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees.
Is there wi-fi & a workspace?
Yes, the Sky broadband is good enough for streaming, playing video games or video conferencing. Our contract is unlimited, so enjoy! NB. there is no fibre just yet in Thurlestone.
If you need a workspace, there is a large dining table with lovely sea views to the south and west.
The mobile signal is decent in the flat, especially for O2.

Do you provide linen?
Yes, we supply a full set of bed linen and bath towels with the beds made for your arrival. Bedding and bath towels are changed on Saturdays with a full clean for 2+ week stays. Please bring beach towels and bath towels should not be used at the beach.
We have a washing machine, indoor clothes rack(s) and an outdoor clothes line.

Do you have outside space?
Yes, we have a south-facing balcony (with stunning sea views) and bench seating, a private patio garden with loungers and dining table/chairs for 6, plus our private 'secret' gated, lawned garden.

How many guests?
We have 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 adults or children (plus 2 babies and 2 dogs).
One bedroom has a king bed and the other two rooms have a flexible arrangement with either one super king bed or to twin beds. Please let us know your preference when booking.
We also have a travel cot available (no bedding provided), included with our complimentary baby kit.

What facilities are there?
It is a spacious property with a large open-plan living/ dining room, separate kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully-equipped. It is very comfortable with every amenity to enjoy your holiday.

Thurlestone has a gastropub and many restaurants within Thurlestone Hotel, which are open to visitors, all located around 300 metres from Little Byfield. There are lots of wonderful pubs and restaurants in the local area.

What time can we arrive?
Anytime after 4pm on a Saturday. We have a key box with a code, so you can arrive at any time or day that is convenient. We are sorry but we do not offer discounts for stays less than 7 days.
